STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT WORK
Patricia started work as a marketing executive in London in 1984, working primarily with motivational & behavioral factors within the consumer market place. Patricia then worked for 6 years as a strategic planner, culminating in her role as ‘Head of Strategic Planning’ for Lintas (advertising agency) in Sydney, Australia. In this role Patricia defined, targeted and developed brand strategies for multi-national companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, Kodak, and many more. Patricia also set up training programmes and procedures for strategic planning and ‘presentation and communication skills’ throughout the company.
Patricia returned to London in 1991 and moved into television and radio. Patricia continued her strategic work on numerous channel launches, programme development, and channel consultancy as well as developing her life coaching work.
TELEVISION & MEDIA WORK
Patricia was selected by Janet Street-Porter & Kelvin McKensie as a reporter for the Mirror Group’s L!VE TV launch in 1995. At L!VE TV (the UK’s first cable exclusive news and entertainment channel) Patricia presented programmes such as “Weird Night”, “Agony”, and “The Sex Show” .
From L!VE TV Patricia drew upon her social science background and devised, produced and presented her own ITV (Network) relationship talk show; ‘Dating The Enemy’ with ‘Lifetime Productions. From there Patricia worked on many studio based, live programmes, often in the role of lead presenter such as Granada’s Wellbeing Channel presenting; ‘Open Clinic’, ‘My story’, ‘Good Birth Guide’ and many more.
Patricia’s most recent television projects have been in her capacity as ‘life coach’ (see below), being co-presenter with Dr Adam Carey (Celebrity fit Club) on Sky Television’s ‘Change The Day You Die’ (2006) as well as Life Coach for Discovery Health & Leisure’s ‘Single Mum’s SOS’ series.
Patricia is also a regular presenter on Radio Music Shop and has a monthly programme on the ground breaking channel 'ACE Radio
LIFE COACH WORK
Patricia qualified as a ‘Life Coach’ via the Scottish Institute of Life Coaching in 2003. Patricia works with individuals and small companies on personal strategies and goal achievement.
